Rotherlea are excited as they have been given the opportunity to visit the 'dementia support hub' at Sage House, Tangmere.

This August, two members of staff, Sue a volunteer and a residents wife; assisted Rotherlea dementia residents to participate in the popular, fun, 'move2music' dance class.  The class supports people with dementia and suits all levles of abilities, to keep everyone fit and healthy in a way that is comfortable for the individual.

Rotherlea are hoping that this will become a regular weekly visit to the hub.

The deputy manager, Claire has mentioned that there is so many activities available at the hub; that Rotherlea are hoping to encourage other residents to take part in classes.  There are so many different classes available, from dancing, art to social events that will whett most individuals appetite to get involved.

The dementia hub offers so much for people living with dementia and carers as the hub provides therapeutic and cognitive activities such as singing, art, dance and reminiscing sessions to support individuals needs.
