Barton Mews Extra Care Housing

Joan and David Thornton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary today at Barton Mews. Congratulations both!

Employees were thanked and recognised for their long service.

Barton Mews hosted a lovely event to award employees who have reached work milestones at The Mews and the Cottage Wing where they were presented with certificates, badges and gifts.

There was a special mention for Julie Turner, Service Manager, of the Cottage Wing, who reached her 35 year work Anniversary.

Residents who live in the extra care apartments at Barton Mews all gathered with staff for the event and enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch to celebrate.

Last Thursday, Doris at Barton Mews celebrated her 100th birthday with family (including her great grand daughter), friends, and the Mayor & Mayoress of East Staffs, and local councillors.

We had a great afternoon enjoying fine food prepared lovingly by our catering team, and revelling in the excitement of having 3 centurions at Barton - Doris, Maurice and Margaret (photographed with the Mayor and Mayoress).

Barton Mews features communal hallways with security intercom entry system, lift and staircase to all floors, bathroom suite with hydraulic bath and a manager's office.

On the 23rd and 24th June Barton Mews held a summer fayre over the weekend.  Their summer fayre coincided with the local village, Barton Under Needwood family festival.

Barton Mews features communal hallways with security intercom entry system, lift and staircase to all floors, bathroom suite with hydraulic bath and a manager's office.
