A lovely event took place last week for our poetry exhibition at Homefield House, not only displaying the residents wonderful poetry but also some art.
Mayor Cllr Dan Putty and Mayoress attended as well as children from Castle Hill Primary School who read some of our poetry.
We also had a resident that moved near to his family returning for this event, as he had done some of the art before moving.
Afterwards we enjoyed some nibbles and drinks.
As well as the exhibition, residents worked on a second Poetry & Art Book which we’ve had printed and has already arrived.
As you can see, Vida proudly holding up Volume 2 of the book where some of her poems appear.
It was a lovely day, thank you to all family, friends and others who attended.
