On Thursday 26th September Lancum House joined the celebration with the nation to celebrate BBC World Music day.
The residents from Lancum House participated to sing along with the Dementia Sings Out Choir as well as year 4 pupils from a local school and Paul Lee a soloist from the Kingdom Choir for the nations 'World Music Day'.
lancum House frequently attends the 'Dementia Sings Out' sesssions in Wellingborough. They could not resist this opportunity to join in with this nationwide awareness campaign. The residents had an incredible, musical morning which was so magical.
This was the first time that the BBC World Music day to kick start a new initiative to coordinate the power of music and people living with dementia.
