This short film looks at how Shaw uses person-centred care to achieve positive outcomes. We look at individuals' likes and dislikes and factor them into the care we deliver.

Richard, who is one of our residents at Maes-y-dderwen is rehabilitating from mental health issues. He loves guitars. We contacted Radioshop pickups, makers of high-end, handmade guitar pickups to see if they could help arrange an experience for Richard that would involve him meeting and interacting with others plus link into his love of guitars. He had a great day and these milestones can make the start of a more positive future.
