The Grove

Well done to Rhian Davies and Tracy Mole for being awarded Employee of the Month for August and September. Very well deserved!

The Swansea Valley Veterans came to The Grove and brought their truck named poppy and marched around the ground to the applause of Service Users and staff.

We started the month off with St David’s day with a choir to entertain us all.

We also had a visit from Fredrick the pet therapy dog.

Mother's Day celebrations were in full swing with a harpist and violinist who entertained us all with songs from Welsh rugby songs to classical music.

We had a visit from Carl bryant who had every one dancing in their chairs.

To finnish of the month we had our easter  fete with an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race and bunny hop sack race for the children, while inside family and friends enjoyed the tombola, raffle and cakes.

We enjoyed the Mari Lwyd Welsh folklore group last week!

The Grove residents were entertained by Lindy Hop Dancers & Dave & Dai singing Duo. Service users loved joining in with all the old tunes.

We all enjoyed an exotic pet visit recently! We hung out with snakes, guinea pigs and even the cutest little meerkat! The residents loved it.

Everyone has been busy getting the garden ready for summer!

Residents and Staff enjoying their Easter Fete!

Valentines decorations and cakes made by residents at The Grove. We also enjoyed an entertainer and bingo.

Residents at The Grove joined together with a local primary school as part of a project of learning how to engage people with music.

We recently had a visit from Bronwen Lewis who sang some Christmas songs for the residents. Everyone had so much fun and we are now all feeling very festive!
