Victoria House
What a fantastic afternoon we have all had at Victoria House.
The local children accompanied with parents, came to show us there scary costumes and were handed sweets by our lovely residents for trick or treat.
Our residents were delighted to see the children in there amazing outfits. It sparked massive joy and brought different generations of the community together.
We held a coffee morning to raise money for Dementia UK. It was well attended by residents and families. Tea, coffee and yummy cakes we served and we raised £71.90, and a sing along followed. A very enjoyable morning was had by all!
We want to wish a massive happy 50th Birthday to our Louise who has celebrated her birthday celebrations here with us at Victoria House.
Congratulations to team Victoria House, 15 years since the refurbishment!
We also celebrated some Long Service Awards and Staff Champions.
Georgina celebrating a surprise party for her 94th birthday. Her family came to see her on Sunday as her birthday is tomorrow.
Residents and staff at Victoria House enjoying the Coronation of King Charles III celebrations over the weekend. Residents enjoyed a Dementia Choir, Cakes and a Royal flag wave.
River came to visit our Service user’s on Saturday, she is a 1 year old Goldendoodle and belongs to our support worker and Deputy Manager!
Residents at Victoria House have enjoyed some entertainment recently. We had entertainment with Bob saxophonist and entertainment with Nick. Everyone had so much fun singing and dancing along.
Residents at Victoria House have enjoyed several entertainers recently, we have had entertainment by Nick and also entertainment from Dave. Everybody loves getting up and having a dance.
Residents at Victoria House enjoyed an animal visit recently. Lots of different animals to stroke and pet, everyone had so much fun!
The residents at Victoria House enjoyed their church service in the home today. A lovely reading and singing was enjoyed by all.
Victoria house residents had fun making poppies followed by some lovely evening entertainment by James Le Bec.
