Warmere Court Manager Mary and Staff supported Shannon Coe on her 'adrenaline charged' fundraising activity at Brighton on Saturday 11th May.
This is the first time Shannon has taken to the sky to do a crane bungee jump. Shannon secured with ropes, was risen to approximately 160 feet in the air, before plummeting rapidly towards the ground. Bungee jumping is not for the faint hearted, as you free fall to the ground, only to be transmitted back towards the sky, to fall once again, by the bungee cord.
Shannon has received a huge support from her manager Mary and staff at Warmere. They have been actively fundraising to decorate their service rooms to create a therapeutic environment. They have succeeded before, as their residents has a 'street' atmosphere downstairs; which has been highly benificial for the residents.
Mary Latter said “On Sunday I went to Brighton to support Shannon. I am so proud of the amazing contribution she has made to Warmere. I am proud of the continued support the staff at Warmere show with fundraising to ensure our services users have the quality of a life that they deserve “
Shannon on successfully completing the jump has raised a whooping £505.75. Well done Shannon, you smashed it!
