Eyes down for Bingo time at Trenewydd. Well done to all the winners. The staff were gifted a box of chocolates as a thank you from a residents' family member. Thank you from us all.
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday at Trenewydd. A fabulous service with David Jenkins, hair done by the talented Sita followed by coffee and cake in the garden.
Making delicious pizzas at Trenewydd to be enjoyed at supper time. Great variety of toppings and a lovely group of chefs.
Thank you once again to the lovely Llanfaes pupils for visiting Trenewydd. It was a fantastic day full of crafting and great conversations.
Trenewydd have regular resident meetings. At this meeting we discussed; menu choices, so the less popular meals could be replaced with some new favourites, updates on Covid, welcoming new residents, checking that the activities offered are meeting everyone's needs and of course, the Christmas party plans.
Big Bingo Bash at Trenewydd today, welcoming back John as a visiting Bingo caller. Thank you for a great day and congratulations to the lucky winners 🏆
A beautiful and busy autumnal day at Trenewydd. Started with a fun game of Family Feud in the lounge then a nice stroll around the garden for Alf and Keith. Geoff has popped up the local garage and Mollie won the newsletter puzzle. Great job everyone who got involved. We also had a pamper day on Sunday. Thank you once again Sita for coming.
Trenewydd is very happy to welcome back the children from Llanfaes School in Brecon. Intergenerational links are so beneficial to all involved and help strengthen the community. It is lovely that the children are learning about dementia and being taught the social skills needed, to form meaningful friendships with people from all different walks of life. The residents loved hearing what the children have been doing in school and talking about their own childhood experiences.
